1/100 MG Destiny Extreme Blast Mode WIP(Updated 18 September 2009)

After reviewing Exia, I felt the need to build something more..awesome. Something less weak jointed and I finally decided to start building Destiny! Although I totally HATE the pilot, the gundam itself is awesome just because of the Wings Of Light alone. Now let’s start with the construction!

Day 1 of construction(14/9/09)

As always, head first. Maybe I should try constructing some other parts before the head for my next gundam project xD

All the parts for the head. Painted the head camera and the rear head cameras

Tadahh! Head done!

Used some green gundam marker for the head cameras. Metallic green I suppose? Didn't clean it up properly xD There's barely any space to maneuver a tissue or towel ><"

Now that the head is done, let’s go for the body~

Some armour parts to cover up the inner frame. Chrome parts for the joint to connect the body to the shoulders

Anddd voila~ Body done!

That’s it for today. As always day 1 includes the construction of the head and body of any gundam xD
Destiny has one of the ugliest looking faces I’ve seen on any gundam. Shinn’s emo-ness probably affected the gundam therefore explaining why it has 2 scars on it’s face that looks like tears? Hahahaahhaha awesome nonetheless! I shall continue on to the arms tomorrow!

Day 2 of construction(15/9/09)

I is back with teh updatees~~ AHahhahaha grammatical errors on purpose =P Anyway today I built Destiny’s arms, well I built one of his arm yesterday so yeah less work today *awesome* gahahaha

Ahahahah! That’s it for today. Destiny’s feeling awesome-r by the day everytime I build him. I hope he lives up to my expectations and doesn’t disappoint like Exia. Will start on the legs tomorrow or even later IF I feel like it =P

Day 3 of construction(16/9/09)

Legs legs and more legs~ Well there’s only 2 legs but yeah you get the point xD Finished the lower body in one go! Bwahhaha now that’s left are the wings and weapons.

Yeah these are unicorn's weapons. I built the weapons first that time before I actually built unicorn himself. And that's when I saw those ugly nub marks and decided not to finish him T.T"!

LOL that was fun. He’s got some really stiff joints which is kind of scary cause I’m scared of breaking something. And he doesn’t even have screws on him o.O Can’t wait to review him and see how well he does xD

Tomorrow I shall build the most awesome part of Destiny..his wings! see ya then 😉

Day 4 of construction(17/9/09)

Built his awesome wings today o.o they are indeed…awesome! Makes other wings look like noobs!!

Day 5 of construction(18/9/09)

Finished off his weapons today. That’s all LOL sorry, kind of in a rush right now so yeah, not much to write xD

Parts for his beam rifle. Pretty standard issue rifle here, nothing special
