Yay I got meself some pressies!

Ok that title sounds seriously gay. LOL as you may have noticed, my gunpla activities are on hiatus for now since gaming season is back in full force, and what better way to celebrate this by getting 4 new video games for my birthday gifts! =D

My 4 wanted games!! Modern Warfare 2 and Assassin's creed 2 will join these once they come out =D

Uncharted 2!! Uncharted 1 was probably one of the best games I've ever played! The graphics were AMAZING, MINDBLASTINGly awesome!

Tekken 6!! The cover sleeve has a nice shiny rainbow effect similar to Destiny's wings of light! =O ahhahaha

Batman Arkham Asylum! Probably the best super hero game to come out in awhile? Most likely the best batman game evarr~ xD

Ninja Gaiden sigma 2! Played it on Xbox360 already but I wanna see how the game's affected by the new additions and a much balanced difficulty =D hahah

WOOOO!!! I’m a very.happy.gamer =D now all I need is to wait for modern warfare 2 and assassin’s creed 2 to come out and this year can end peacefully LOL Can’t play any of these games yet since I promised my sis and parents to finish my exams off first O=)

The day of my birth!?

Wooooooooot!! I’ve finally turned 18 today! ahhahaha can’t wait to start driving nyek nyek nyek *smirks*

Sniff sniff, Gaming and Gunpla~

Bleh. I always wanted to play Final Fantasy X but I never bought a PS2 since I opted for an Xbox last time sigh

And then my friend told me “why not try a ps2 emulator for your laptop”

LOL it never crossed my mind! There’s no harm in trying it, so why not.

A couple of days later, I finished downloading both the emulator and the iso of the game(yes I know, piracy is no good bla bla but here in my country you can hardly find any original ps2 games )

Lo and behold, after configuring the emulator, I took the game for a test spin. It.Lagged.To.Hell

After that I tried reconfiguring and maybe lowering the graphics and shit. Tried the game again. Omg it lagged to kingdom come.

That was a few mins ago and now I have decided that I might as well give up and face the facts that my laptop sucks and CANNOT play an emulated ps2 game @_@ so sad~

I’ll probably just borrow my cousin’s ps2(yes, I’m THAT cheap. I can buy gunpla like hell and I can’t even buy a ps2?!) and see if anyone has a copy of FFX lying around. I’m sure at least one of my friends has one since everyone probably finished playing this game in the last century or something. I’m sooooooooo left behind *cries moar*

….

ANYWAY! In other news, I’m currently in a video game mood/season. Look like video games are coming back in full force around this time of the month. It’s always during MY month, and a great month it is indeed! Birthday’s coming up, I’ll be able to drive soon after that and I can’t wait to pick up some awesome games! Gunpla is gonna take a backseat for awhile, and yes, that means lack of updates. I’m truly sorry but I think I overdosed myself with abit too much gundam. Watched gundam nonstop since..march? Built gunpla nonstop. I need a break and it seems that my craving for video games will provide me that much needed gunpla break

Modern Warfare 2, Assassin’s Creed 2 and Uncharted 2. These 3 are probably on my highest priority list right now! I can’t wait to play them!! Why are they all PS3 versions you may ask? No I’m not a PS3 fanboy, it’s just that my Xbox360 died on me twice already. RROD, red ring of death. The dreaded rings that will lower the morale of any sane person @_@ I’ve played Ninja Gaiden 2 on my 360, never finished it since I’m too scared to switch on my 360 now. For my Wii, well..it’s just..there. There’s no worthwhile games coming out anytime soon and Super Smash Brothers Brawl can only last me for so long since I don’t have anyone else to play with -.-”

So the only option to go is my faithful PS3, which hasn’t given me any problems yet other than freezing once or twice but other than that it’s running smoothly. It’s also my preferred console of choice for playing rock band 2 which has lasted me for nearly a year! No game has lasted me this long other than DotA on my laptop which I’ve been playing on and off for the past 2 or 3 years I suppose? But for console, rock band 2 is the only game I’ve played for so long. It’s probably due to the downloadable songs LOL

Woah I just went on babbling for the past hour of typing all these out. I hope I didn’t bore any of you and I’m sorry for the lack of updates. My exams aren’t even finished yet and I’m in my holiday mood already~ Gahh 2 more papers to go!

Seems like an interesting gundam series. Can’t wait to watch more episodes. As for ZZ gundam, it was pretty…boring at first. I hated Judau for being so cocky and whiny and stuff, but he kind of grew onto you by just abit. Halfway through the show it got better I guess especially when Judau matured but that was like 3/4 of the anime so it took awhile. Zeta gundam was wayyy better in my opinion ahahaha. Zeta’s probably my favourite mobile suit and when they showed the bulky ass firepower focused Double Zeta, I quickly hated it. What happened to the sleek, fast, mobility focused Zeta design!? It was like they totally took Zeta, made it bulky, add super huge beam sabers and a weird mega particle cannon on its forehead LOL. Judau even used the Zeta a few more times since the Double Zeta wasn’t very practical as it needed to dock its parts most of the times.

Ah well, now I’m currently waiting for Char’s counterattack to finish downloading and I can’t wait to watch it! SIEG ZEONN!! Ahem.. I mean.. Goo Amuro~

00 Movie Trailer

Nothing much other than the new gundams themselves. Watching them animated looks better than still pictures xD

Gundam Zabanya and Harute looks too similar to their previous designs in my opinion.
Gundam 00 Qan[T] and Raphael on the other hand looks totally wicked! Qan[T]’s colour scheme reminds me alot of Hi-Nu especially since it looks like he has some funnel/bit system going on whereas Raphael’s head looks alot like GP02

The pilots themselves, well Tieria looks alot calmer now, Lockon/Lyle looks cocky as always, Allelujah looks..like himself and to me Setsuna looks more mature, probably cause of the longer face perhaps? Ah well time will tell, can’t wait to watch it next year! xD

Also loved how they used Decisive Battle as the background music. I love that song! ahhahaha

I was watching G gundam last time and noticed this rather unusual and out of place guy in the last episode…

Well they all look unusual in that anime but this guy stood out from the crowd~

Yes! It’s the granddaddy of all gundams! Gundam RX78-2 himself!! He had a shield and a beam rifle. Noone else had a shield or a beam rifle in that anime if I remembered correctly and when I saw this I went “Holy cow that’s him alright!” Wooot! Gooo Gundamm!!!

LOL I’m watching ZZ Gundam episode 7 right now and I saw something peculiar about this one scene that I had to take a screenshot of!

Look at the logo on the container….it’s…BANDAI!! LOL

In this scene they were transporting supplies to the Argama(the ship that houses Zeta gundam) such as vegetebles, meat, weapons, etc. I wonder what supplies Bandai were giving them? A master grade zeta gundam perhaps?! AHAHHAHA

Another thing to note is that the logo isn’t coloured the same as the normal Bandai logo. This is inverted, usually its white letterings on red background. Here it’s red letterings on white background. Interesting hmmmm~~

Yeah I didn’t know what else to post but I’ll be doing these “WTF?!” moments while watching gundam shows. I should post one of the ones I saw on G Gundam. It was interesting too but that’s for another post next time

RXN-0 Unicorn Rogue

Aahahhahaha I think I’ve lost my mind? Remember back when I said I gave up on my MG Unicorn? Well I did…but I built him anyway…

I fcked my unicorn up so bad I decided to destroy his whole left side. It started when I was building his head back in June I think? His left horn broke off. I cried. And now I’m back with a totally GG-fied Unicorn! What do you think of the weathering…

This is the titanium version of unicorn(yeah I know a lot of you are gonna kill me xD) but I just hated the nub marks so much. So either way I was never gonna build him anyway. This was a better alternative than to bomb him with a firecracker LOL

I’m not really done with him actually. His jetpack and shield are yet to be completed. But anyway I’m satisfied with the results. I don’t care if he looks ugly or not, all I wanted was to finish him off xD

Anyway here’s a backstory I made up for this guy:

The Unicorn RXN-0 was the test subject for Anaheim Electronics after Sinanju. Although no one has ever heard of the RXN-0, this was indeed Unicorn’s true predecessor. Code named Unicorn Rogue, it’s test run was to begin right before the construction of the actual RX-0 Unicorn.

When Neo Zeon found out about this test model, they devised a plan to destroy it during the test run.

When the day came, Unicorn Rogue flew off into Lagrange One for its trial. There, the Neo Zeon forces used a new device unknown to anyone to disrupt Unicorn Rogue’s internal psycommu system. As this was a prototype, the unicorn psycommu system totally burnt out and left the mobile suit vulnerable.

Panicked and unable the control the Unicorn Rogue, the test pilot ejected immediately and was safely rescued by Anaheim Electronics rescue team. Neo Zeon used one of their ship’s Hyper Mega Cannon and shot a huge beam at the vulnerable mobile suit but hit only its left side, totally destroying most of the armour panels. The force of the beam pushed Unicorn Rogue further away where it drifted off to space.

After several centuries later, Lowe Guele, pilot of the Astray Red Frame, found the Unicorn Rogue drifting peacefully close to colony that he found the Gerbera Straight in. Unable to find anything that even remotely resembles the mobile suit’s armour panel, he just took it and modded the psycommu system to enable him to work. Alas the Unicorn Rogue could finally move again but was unable to transform back to Unicorn mode. Lowe renamed this mobile suit to “Astray Rogue Unicorn DestroyED(Everlasting Design) Mode”, and made this his secondary mobile suit.

Yes, everything was totally made up and that Lowe Guele story was just totally bullshit since Univeral Century and Cosmic Era are two different universes LOL
