MG Deathscythe Hell!

My WIP since last year, finally finished. MG RX-178 Gundam Mk-II

Ah, the geara zulu. Bought 2 of them a while back when I was on my unicorn spending craze. This was just a quick snap fit build since I was too lazy to do any major painting or anything, just a bit of panel lining here and there. I really like mobile suits with weapons that look like assault rifles that closely resembles what a real life weapon would look like

Woot! Not sure when I’ll review him though but I’m so glad that I finally finished building one gundam, been awhile since my last completed model xD

Parts for the arm

Completed arms! The left one has been panel lined and detailed while the right one is how it’ll look like immediately after snap fitting(plus the “realistic” stickers)

Looking great so far

Holy cow, that’s a lot of parts for a head in 1/144th scale. Painted the head camera with clear blue.

A number of parts for the beam rifle. Not just a simple 2 piece beam rifle like most of the older MGs xD Painted the scope piece clear blue as well

Again, not a simple 2 piece shield. Great colour separation for the shield.

Being able to pull off this pose is enough for my money to be justified of this purchase!

No regrets buying this kit at all! Initial impression was great. Now I’m still impressed with the technology put behind the RG line. Only the aile pack left to build, not sure if I’ll be able to build it tomorrow though since I haz work. Probably next Saturday? Loving every minute building this kit

Souchaku henshin Den-O on the left and S.H.Figuarts Den-O on the right

Ordered figma hitagi quite a while back and she finally arrived 3 days ago at the local hobby shop. Saw RG Aile Strike and Den-O Strike form and immediately grabbed them both. I booked gatakiriba at first but Den-O looked soo much better and there was only 1 left in stock, so no questions asked..other than my wallet staring at me angrily xD So worth it just for those huge beautiful shiny red eyes @_@

Just in case anyone was wondering, I got the Souchaku henshin Den-O way back when on my last trip to Singapore, I think this is my first time featuring him in a figure story LOL

This is my first time building an RG and I’m really impressed at the number of parts for such a small scale model kit. Initial impression is *thumbs up* Can’t wait to finish this guy

Sub-zero’s eyes look kinda funny though. They somehow look..feminine xD
